John Brecker, 79 years old, of Girardville, died here at the residence of his son, Joseph, of N. Centre St. following a lengthy illness. He is survived by three sons and four daughters, Joseph of town, John of the Philippine Islands, William; Mrs. John Maley of Ashland, Mary, Mrs. Jos. McConnell, of Easton and Mrs. Frank Kleman of Frackville. The funeral will be held Tuesday with requiem mass in St. Joseph's church at 9:30 o'clock. Interment will be made at Girardville.

Centre St., Frackvllle, Pa. Requiem mass at St. Joseph's Catholic church at 9:30 o'clock, after which cortege will proceed to Girardville on special trolley car at 10:40 o'clock. Interment in St. Joseph's cemetery, Girardville.
