Charles J. Bullis Jr., 64, of Daniel St. died suddenly Sunday, February 29, 2004 at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Chuck was born in Albany and had been a lifelong resident of the Capital Region. He was a conductor with Conrail Railroad in Selkirk and retired after 30 years of service in 2000. He was also manager of Pheasant Hollow Golf Course, a division of Evergreen Country Club. He coached Ravena Pop Warner, Hudson Valley Little League and the American Legion Baseball team for many years. Predeceased by his parents Charles J. and Mary (Genovese) Bullis. Chuck is survived by his wife Renee (Ventura) Bullis of East Greenbush; two daughters, Cindy (Mark) Milian of Saratoga and Benay Bullis of N.J.; two sons, Chris Bullis of Selkirk and Chuckie (Coleen) Bullis of Ravena; three stepsons Ben (Grace) Ventura of East Greenbush, Angelo Ventura and Tony Ventura, both of Selkirk. Also survived by four brothers John (Vickie) Bullis of Stillwater, Jim (Pat) Bullis of Albany, Joe (Carol) Bullis of Colonie and Mike Bullis of Latham; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral 9:00 a.m. Thursday from the Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer, N.Y. Friends may call in the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont, N.Y.
