Alicia (Alice) Eva Cloud passed away November 17, 2019 in Douglas Arizona. Born to Felix and Juanita Moreno in Pirtleville, Arizona on June 3, 1925. Preceded in death by her husband William (Bill), her parents, two brothers and five sisters. Survived by one Sister Otila Moreno, sons William Cloud (Teresa), Arthur Cloud, and daughter Patricia Martinez (Ruben). Seven Grandchildren, William Cloud, Lisa Cloud, Bryant Cloud, Michael Cloud, Patrick Cloud, Brittania Bub, Brantley Bub and Eight Great-Grandchildren.

Alicia left Pirtleville after High School to attend St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Phoenix, AZ graduating as a Registered Nurse. She was scheduled to go into the Army Nursing Corp during WWII but the war ended prior to her service date. Alicia returned to Douglas, AZ and started her career as an RN at the Douglas Hospital and later worked in many capacities including Director of Nursing at Cochise County Hospital, retiring after more than 40 years of service. After retirement she volunteered in Douglas and surrounding communities on Wellness Wagons, etc.

Alicia was very devoted to the Catholic Church, she would deliver the Sacrament of Communion to the homebound. She was also very well traveled visiting most of the United States and many countries including a pilgrimage to Medjugorje, Bosnia.

Alicia will be missed not only by her family and friends but the community that she served and loved so well!! A Rosary for Alicia will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Brown Page Mortuary. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Pirtleville Cemetery. www.brownpagemortuary.com
