Thomas Alewine age 75 of formerly of Calhoun, Missouri presently from Lathrop, Missouri passed away, Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Missouri. Thomas will be cremated and there will be a private family night and a funeral at a later date in Kansas City, Missouri.

Tom was born on July 29, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri to Hayden and Evelyn (Hobby) Alewine. He loved hunting, fishing and camping. Tom was the Owner of Tom's Handyman and General Contracting in Henry County, Missouri. Tom and his wife loved to set up at festivals and fairs, playing Mardi Gras to end the season.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Timothy and a grandson, Alex.

Tom is survived by his wife of 34 years, Melodie, sons, Fred, Robert (Susan) Anderson, Jeff (Tonya) Alewine, all of Clinton, Missouri, and Joseph, Calhoun, Missouri, daughters, Karen Levie, Oregon, Karla Gonzalez, Lathrop, Missouri and Down Carey, Greenridge, Missouri, numerous other adults who called him dad, 20 grandchildren, Kennedy, Kelsea, Kolton, Tristen, Preston, Alex, Jacob, J.T., Kaydn, Evyn, Kaylee, Madison, Tyler, Abby, David, Andre, Ali, Alondra, Azriel, and Joseph, and his first great-granddaughter to be, Everleigh.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
