Simmons, Sharon (Robbins) went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, June 20, 2013. She was at home, under Hospice care at the time of her death.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Verlie; her parents, Harry F. Jr. and Doris D. Robbins; brother, Todd Robbins (Donna); sisters in law Joyce Phillips, Carole Rankin and Joy McNamara; step-son Stephen Simmons; and her beloved cats, Bear and Monkey. Sharon also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins and a host of friends that will miss her greatly.

Some of Sharon's greatest joys in life were family, photography and travel. She was an accomplished pianist and vocalist.

Sharon worked in many capacities over the years, her latest vocation, being partnered with her husband in their automobile salvage business.
