A farmer and resident and native of New Roads, he died at 6:10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21, 1998, at Lakeview Manor Nursing Home, New Roads. He was 96. Visiting at Niland's Funeral Home, New Roads, 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday. Religious services at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Michael Schatzle.
Interment in False River Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Lillian B. Aguillard; four daughters, Laura Jarreau, Oscar, Rosemary Jarreau, Ventress, Stella Price, Lakeland, and Mary Ann Rouse, Denham Springs; a sister, Inez Costello, New Roads; two brothers, William Aguillard and Wilfred Aguillard, both of New Roads; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Roselus and Ann Aguillard; a daughter, Dolly Joyce Aguillard; three brothers, Delaune, Albert and Percy Aguillard; and a sister, Thelma Latiolais.
