She married Monroe Ziegler on December 17, 1949 at St John's United Church of Christ.
She treasured socializing and just being around people, as evidenced by her successful employment at
Creve Coeur Inn for many years. Other interests included her needlework, playing cards [especially Black Jack], satisfying her sweet-tooth, but she was mostly proud of her wonderful family.
Survivors include: one special friend, Mary Ellen Scheipeter; her two grandchildren: Brian [Brea] Scheipeter and Lindsey [Scott] Kloeppel; four great grandchildren: Jackson, Josephine, Emma, and Nash;
Mother-in-law of Wayne Scheipeter; four Sisters-in-law: Karen Costa, Helen Ravencraft, Florence Goad, and Jean Hutton; Brothers-in-law: Larry, Richard, Gordon; several nieces and nephews; cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 65 years;
two daughters: Barbara Litzsinger and Dolly Mayo; brothers-in-law: Leon, Clifford. Charles and Ronnie;
and two sister-in-laws: Carol [Ziegler] Gibson and Ruth [Ziegler] Aungerer.
Services are under the direction of Valhalla Funeral Chapel.
