my brother-in-law, Virgil Cooley, a brave Army
veteran who from all indications, is close to his final
days on this side of eternity. He has bravely fought
debilitating effects of dementia, severe arthritis
limiting his mobility to the point of being bed-
ridden, as well as other infections ravishing his
body. He is tired, he is weary of fighting and I
believe he is longing for the release from this motal
body for his transition to his promised eternal
home, free of pain and suffering. He has served
our Lord faithfully for many years and a crown of
righteousness awaits him. Pray for my sister,
DeAnna Cooley, his loving wife of 50 years and
faithful caregiver for him the past few years as well
as his son, Mike. Thank God for peace that passes
all understanding, even in this most difficult time.
So today, I honor Virgil Cooley and thank him for
his service to our country. (Gwenda Stephenson, Sister In Law)
One gift, above all others God gives to us to treasure one that knows no time, no place and one gold cannot measure. The precious, poignant, tender gift of Memory that will keep our dear ones ever in our hearts although God gives them sleep. It brings back long remembered things a song, a word, a smile and our world's a better place because we had them for awhile.-copied
