June was the daughter of William B. and Mildred (Smith) Knight. She graduated from Chapman High School in 1934. She married William Fred Vipperman on June 22, 1937. The Vippermans farmed in the Chapman area, and Mrs Vipperman continued to have farming interests in Merrick County until her death.
She was a member of the Chapman Baptist Church and the Chapman United Methodist Church where she was a choir member, Sunday School teacher and organist many years.
She leaves to mourn her a loss, a son, John F. "Freddie" Vipperman of Chapman; two granddaughters; two great grandchildren and a brother, William R. Knight of of Chapman.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew B. Knight
