Helen A. “Snook” Lilly, 86, of Jumping Branch went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at her home following a long illness.

Born December 18, 1932 at Little Bluestone she was a daughter of the late Elisha Berman and Leatha Basham Cooper.

Snook was a member of the Jumping Branch Tabernacle and of the Ladies Mission Circle. She was also a member of the Jumping Branch Senior Center. Snook had worked in housekeeping at Bluestone State Park. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, church activities and shopping. Snook was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank P. “Doc” Lilly; one infant son; one daughter, Debra Lilly; three sisters, Maxine Ward, Carol Lilly and Lorene Maddy.

Those left to cherish her memory include her four sons, Dale Lilly, Gene Lilly and wife Sherry, Roy Lilly and wife Connie, all of Jumping Branch, and Denny Lilly and wife Tammy of Nimitz; one niece, Kathy Pack of Jumping Branch; five grandchildren, Gena Onyebuchi and husband Albert, Tabitha Barnes, Jamie Lilly and wife Renee, Amy Justice and husband Jason and Joshua Lilly and wife Brittany and twelve great grandchildren, T.J. Smith and wife Kristen, Imani and Brooklyn Smith, Noah, Kylee Jo and Austyn Barnes, Aleah and Ariel Lilly, Emily and Jacob Justice and Caleb and Kelly Lilly.

Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Friday, November 15, 2019 at Jumping Branch Tabernacle with Pastors Tom and Dalene Coffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of services on Friday at Jumping Branch Tabernacle. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
