A resident of Amite, LA, passed away on Saturday, Novemer 9, 2019 at Tangi Pines Nursing Center in Amite. He was born October 22, 1940 in Tylertown, MS and was 79 years of age. He is survived by his two brothers and sisters, Elmer Morris and wife, Marty of Amite and Walter Morris; three sisters, Ruby Nell Morris Cox and husband, Wayne, of Pride, LA, Rosa Lee Morris Dixon of Rogers, AR, and Flora Lee Morris Montgomery of Livingston, LA; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by his wife, Marie "Reva" Brown Morris; parents, Elmer G. and Ruby Breeland Morris; brother, Tommy John Morris; and sister, Mary Nell Morris Leet; two brothers-in-law, Charles Dixon and Charles Montgomery.
