Jim Griswold, 82, of Hot Springs, died April 28, 2011.
He was born August 23, 1928 in Abilene, Texas to Ollie and Bonnie (Campbell) Griswold. Jim was a member of First Baptist Church. In his younger years at Ennis, Texas he worked as a telegraph operator for Southern Pacific Railroad. Later he worked as a commercial welder.
Loving survivors include his wife of 62 years, Bettye Griswold, of Hot Springs; two sons, Wade (Luella) Griswold and Jimmy (Sherry)Griswold, of Wichita, Kansas; daughters, Geri Lane, of Conway, and Barbara (Mike) Barker, of Farmington, New Mexico; brother, Bob Griswold, of Austin, Texas; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
