Charlotte Farthing Fowlkes, 83, of Danville, passed away August 18, 2018, at Roman Eagle Healthcare Center. She was born in Danville, on April 9, 1935, a daughter of Luther Thomas Farthing and Daisy Evans Farthing. She was married to the late William "David" Fowlkes. She was the owner and operator of Big Daddy's Restaurant with her late husband, David. She was a member of North Main Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Debra F. Payne (Allen) and Kelly F. Johnson (Keith); two grandchildren; a sister, Emma McGregor. She was also predeceased by three sisters, Thelma Boulware, Evelyn Brown and Lois Stephens; two brothers, Calvin Farthing and Joel Farthing
