Joan Hobbs

Joan Hobbs, 71, passed away Oct. 11, 2001 in Roosevelt. She was born Dec. 12, 1929 in Seminole, Okla., a daughter of Eugene and Buena Kiesler Stewart. Joan married Robert Sharp Hatch. He passed away. Joan then married Earl Raymond Hobbs on May 5, 1960 in Las Vegas, Nev.
Joan was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Joan enjoyed cooking, gardening, flowers, playing bingo and reading. She loved spending time with her 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Joan would look forward to the family reunions, seeing her relatives was her greatest joy.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Hobbs; children, David E. (Patricia) Hatch, Las Vegas; Donna Lorraine (Kenneth ) Price, Vernal; Michael (Tammy) Hobbs, Salt Lake City; 21 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter and son-in-law, Bobbi Jo (Steven) Revert.
Funeral services were held Oct. 16 at Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Burial was in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of Thomson Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
