Richard Glenn Adams, 87, went to be with the Lord Friday, June 29, 2007, in Tennessee.
He was born April 5, 1920, to James and Rachel (Henderson) Adams in Tecumseh, where he spent his childhood years.

Richard was a World War II veteran. During the war he flew B-25's in Italy and Africa.

He worked for Chrysler and retired from there after 33 years.

One of Richard's passions in life was golf. He played in many left-handed tournaments. His favorite golf course was Page Belcher in Tulsa.

He is survived by two daughters, Debra Adams of Nashville, Tenn., and Penny Adams Hawboldt of Dallas, Texas.; a brother, James Wayne Adams of High Point, N.C.; two grandchildren, Nicholas Richard Hirsch and Brandy Hawboldt; numerous loving nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. Bburial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery.
