Lenora, "Snooky" to her loved ones, married Sherman Herr Booth of Terre Haute Indiana, on October 4, 1943 in St Louis, Missouri. They had two children & are survived by both Shera Ann Booth Smith & Ronald Charles Booth & wife Sandee.
Lenora was a wonderful & loving "Nanny" to five grandchildren; Stacie Smith Starnes & Michael, Aaron Booth, Cherish "Russty" Booth Brazil & Bob, Travis Booth, & Trent Booth. She also has six great-grandchildren; Michael "Todd" Starnes II, Calvin "Walker" Starnes, Alyssa Booth, Ariel Booth, Jacklyn Booth, & Danica Booth.
In her young days Lenora spent time at the Dude Ranches in Bandera & was excited to move close to Bandera later in life. To make ends meet during the war she built carbuarators for the airplanes. Lenora enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys play, RV-ing with her husband (continuing to go camping with her friends all over the country, until she was no longer able to). Nanny took great pride in her family & tried to instill faith & values to us all. She had the sweetest smile & a giggle that would tickle anyone.
She will be dearly missed & held forever close within our hearts.
