A Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors for James William “Bud” Odle 80, are set for 11:00 AM Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church with Bro. David George and Bro. Donnie Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Searcy-Odle Cemetery.

Bud died October 31, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 14, 1939 in Rienzi, MS. to the late James and Helen (Parvin) Odle. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, a 1958 graduate of Alcorn Agriculture High School and served in the US Army. He was a retired machinist from Dana Corp. He enjoyed antique cars, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mona Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Wolfe Odle; his daughters, Cathy Burns (Paul), Bonnie Baggett Mask (Kenny), Lora Travis (Gary); brother, Silas Odle (Faye); sister, Sue Nell Searcy (Norman); grandchildren, Casey Prentiss, Emily Marsh (JonScott), Olivia Vanderford (Jay), Noah Richardson (Akasha), Caleb Baggett, Adam Baggett, Elijah Baggett, T. J. Alvis, Haven Alvis, Paula Burns; seven great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers, Noah Richardson, Caleb Baggett, Adam Baggett, Elijah Baggett, T.J. Alvis, Timmy Searcy.

Family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 at the Memorial Funeral Home and Saturday from 9:00 to service time at the Antioch Baptist Church
