Ruth Demsky Greenstein, 64, of Oxford Heights Apartments, Chelsea No. 6, Guilderland, died at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany after a short illness. Born in Amsterdam, she lived in Albany for most of her life before moving to Guilderland some years ago. She was a member of Temple Israel, its Sisterhood, the Albany Chapter of the Senior Hadassah, the Alley Cats Bowling League, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home. She also did volunteer work in the emergency room at St. Peter's Hospital for several years.
Spouse - Stanley Greenstein.
Parents - Herschel Danielovitch and Bryna Sanglel Danielovitch.
Daughters - Terry Dunigan of Los Angeles, Calif. and Debra S. Greenstein of Guilderland.
Sisters - Ida Sahr of Schenectady, Marion Byck of Albany, Fritzi Becker of Guilderland, and Kay Goodman of Boynton Beach, Fla.
Brother - Kirk Douglas of Beverly Hills, Calif.
