Georgette S. St. Sauveur, 87, of Hernando, FL., passed away on April 8, 2011 at Hospice of Citrus County, Inverness, FL. A native of Windsor, she was born Aug. 22, 1923 to Gideon and Rose (Gagne) Beaudoin and moved to Florida from the Farmington Woods area of Avon, 21 years ago. Georgette was both a supervisor for Dept. of Motor Vehicles in Connecticut and also a lifelong homemaker. She attended St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Inverness and was an avid golfer at one time at Black Diamond Ranch, Lecanto, FL. Mrs. St. Sauveur is survived by her husband of nearly 52 years, Normand P. St. Sauveur of Hernando; son Richard Gould (Verna), Madisonville, TN, daughter Penny Salerno (Ron), Newington, daughter Carol Ferris, Raleigh, NC, daughter Jill St. Sauveur, W. Hartford; brother Forest Beaudoin, Auburndale, FL, sister Irene Cajue, Pomfret Center, sister Lorraine Quimby, Enfield; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, May 6 at Mount St. Benedict's Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT with a reception to follow at Wethersfield Country Club.
