Frank J. Gibson is the son of George W. & Rhoda (Quertermous) Gibson. Frank was a veteran of World War I with the rank of Sargeant in Co. A of the 330th U.S. Infantry. He served with the American Expeditionary Forces from 12 June 1918 to 30 January 1919. Frank was honorably discharged on 13 February 1919. After the war, Frank worked as deck hand on an Ohio River steamboat. He married Freda L. Wright 29 October 1921. By 1930 he was a foreman at a gas supply company. He and Freda had a daughter, Betty, and resided in Delhi Township.
