He served on the board of directors of The Record Credit Union and was a member of the Hillsdale United Methodist Church. Beloved husband of Roberta J. (nee Bailey) Clifford. Devoted father of Michael B. and Kelly Jean Clifford. Dear son of Alfred Francis Sr. and Hilda Clifford of Dumont. Dear brother of Sandra Eck of Dumont. Visitation was offered on Sunday, July 25, 1982 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Lyons Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ 07675. A funeral service was conducted in the funeral home on Monday, July 26, 1982 at 11 AM. Interment followed at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Memorial gifts and donations would be appreciated to the American Heart Fund.
