Josephine, age 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 24, 2019, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on May 13, 1928 in Jarales, New Mexico. She was a great provider and hard-working mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

While working in the retail industry, Josephine continued to study for her GED, which she received at the age of 48. She went on to work at Lovelace Hospital for 20 years, from which she retired. She then went on to work at Sears, where she worked until the age of 82. After retirement, she enjoyed hosting bus trips to Laughlin, where she met many wonderful people until age 90.

Josephine is survived by daughter Elizabeth and husband David, son Michael and wife Catherine, daughter Debbie, 9 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends.

Services will be held Thursday, October 31, 2019, at Holy Family Parish in Albuquerque. Rosary will be recited at 8:30 am, with mass to follow at 9:00 am. Arrangements by Gabaldon Mortuary.
