1st husband: Abraham Jackson Rutledge, born about 1842 in Harford County, Maryland; married in 1876 in New Orleans; death unknown

--Beaulah Rutledge (Mrs. William Arthur Cooke), 1892-1954

2nd husband: Thomas Robinson Carroll, born 1839 in Mississippi; married in 1901 St. Landry Parish, Louisiana; died in Louisiana in 1914.

DEATH: RUTLEDGE-CARROLL. At the residence 8510 Freret street, on Tuesday evening, March 3, 1931, at 2:35 o'clock, LOUISA LIND, wife by first marriage of the late Abraham J. Rutledge and by second marriage of the late Thomas R. Carroll, mother of John R. Rutledge and Mrs. A. Cooke, sister of Mrs. H.L. Bidstrup and Mrs. J.J. Henderson, Sr., age 73 years, a native and resident of this city. Relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will take place from the funeral home of Pat. J. & Jos. J. McMahon-Coburn Co., 2305 Canal street, corner N. Miro street on Wednesday morning, March 4, 1931, at 10 o'clock. Services at Mater Dolorosa Church. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
