Betty H. (Adamkewech) Rea
JANUARY 8, 1930 ~ OCTOBER 23, 2019 (AGE 89)
Betty Helen Rea, 89, formerly of Raton, New Mexico and most recently of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Wednesday morning, October 23, 2019 at the Morning Star Assisted Senior Living and Memory Care facility following a brief illness.

Betty was a humble, inspirational servant. She always had an uplifting greeting for everyone, many times followed by one of her many jokes.

As a highly respected retired educator, businesswoman, Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and friend, her legacy will live on through the many lives she influenced.

Betty had a unique strength, rooted in her faith in God and people. It was as if she was always on a mission.
She took on, without fear, what was dealt her. She wholeheartedly believed in God and was very attentive to God's wishes. She believed, without a doubt, Jesus was going to take her home and he did!

Betty is preceded in death by her parents Albin and Dorothea; her sisters Jennie, Sofia, and Adeline; and a nephew that she cherished, Brian.

Survivors include her niece, Emilie Woody of Riverton, Wyoming; David Caputo of Medellín, Colombia; and Bruce Tepley of Costa Mesa, California; along with a host of great nieces, great nephews and many friends. Also surviving are her beloved god son, Sean McIntyre; and her long time friend Agnes Garcia.

Interment of cremains at the
Aguilar Cemetery, Aguilar, Colorado.
