Beloved husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, brother and friend of many, Bert Kelser Lee, III, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 in Harleton, Texas surrounded by his family. Bert was born on March 23, 1954 in Marshall, Texas to Bert K. Lee, II and Juanita (Deason) Lee. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Juanita Lee; brother, Bill Abernathy, and his parents-in-law, Bill and Geneva McAngus. Bert is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Pamela Sue Lee; sons, Chris Lee (Polly) and Chad Lee (Amanda); grandchildren, Pamela, Jackson, Elizabeth, Victoria, Hannah and Hudson; sister, Nita Griffin (Kenneth), numerous nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Leonard McAngus (Jennifer); sisters-in-law, Judy Watson and Virginia Abnernathy; his P.A. and guardian angel, Tracy Webster from the Jefferson Life Center; and Chantelle, as well as his 4 legged fur baby, Koda. Bert proudly served his country in the U.S. National Guard and worked in the industrial and manufacturing field for many years. His true passion in life was spending time with his precious family and friends. His was a life well lived; he was well loved and he will be deeply missed by all who were blessed with his friendship. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 5pm-7pm at Meadowbrook Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 11:00am at Woodlawn Cemetery with Debbie Rogers officiating.
