Born June 14, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Dabney W. and Clara A. Sandridge. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elzie Dunnivan Jr., and a daughter, Cheryl Perkins.
She is survived by a brother, Paul E. Sandridge Sr. of Scottsville; a grandson, Dobey Perkins of Florida; a nephew, Paul E. Sandridge Jr. of Scottsville; a nephew and two nieces by marriage, and guardian and friend, Bettina Rose.
"Polly", as she was most known by her family and friends, resided in Fluvanna County. She loved all animals but had an extreme love of cats and offered her home to a multitude of them.
A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2006, at the Teague Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clarke Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Louisa, Virginia.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at Teague Funeral Home.
