Tony, age 91, was the son of Roberto and Pabla (Medina) Jasso. He served in the US Navy on the aircraft carrier, USS Princeton, as a cook. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for nearly 44 years. He married Fifi Moran Sifuentez in 1950. Survivors include his children, Reina White, Roberto Jasso, Eva Murad, Toni-Alice Venneberg, and Anthony Jasso Jr., 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and his sisters, Justa, Julia, and Dominga. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his siblings, Trinidad, Emilia, Ramona, Tomasa, Felipe, Petra, and his daughter, Paula. Mass of Christian burial was held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton. Burial with Navy Honors was in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
