Aaron R. Twining, 15, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center. Son of Christopher and Heather (Rawson) Twining, he was born on August 6, 2004 and was raised in Belchertown, attending Pathfinder Regional Technical High School.
Aaron loved animals, especially his two dogs, Delta and Mia and spending countless hours playing video games. He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing at his favorite lake and his yearly backpacking trip in the White Mountains with friends and family. He was a member of the Boy Scouts Troop #507 in Belchertown. Although his sudden death brings great sadness, the memories of Aaron will forever be in our hearts. He will be fondly remembered as a quiet, caring soul who would do anything for anyone else without question. In addition to his loving parents, Aaron leaves behind his brother Brian Twining of Belchertown; his Aunty KK, Uncle Steve Heath, Uncle Robert Rawson and his wife Karen, Uncle Mark Rawson and his two daughters Amber and Jasmine; his cousins Sean Moriarty, Michael Moriarty, and Delaney Heath; His Uncle Rick and Auntie Diane, Uncle Jeff as well as his cousins Nicole & Ryan, Kristen, Kara & Justin; his grandparents Debbie Twining, John Rawson and Vicki Alfano-Friberg; and extended family members and friends. Aaron is predeceased by his grandmother Carol Rawson and Grandfather Kent Friberg. Visiting hours for Aaron will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 4pm-7pm at Sampson’s Chapel of the Acres, 21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield. A funeral home service will be held the following day on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 beginning at 10am. Burial to immediately follow in South Cemetery, 143 Mill Valley Rd, Belchertown, MA 01007.
