Lydia Sherman, aged 19, died at the home of her parents, on the J.W. Distin farm, Mt. Pleasant, on Tuesday, after an illness of but two days. The funeral services will be held at the home on Friday at 11 o'clock. Burial at North Volney.

The friends here of Mrs. Lydia Sherman of Mount Pleasant were
shocked and grieved to learn of her sudden death last week of heart failure following an attack of the grippe. The body was brought here for burial in North Volney cemetery
The funeral of Miss Lydia Sherman was largely attended at the late home, on Friday, Sept. 24th. The floral display denoted the esteem in which Miss Sherman was held, as to know her was to love her. The family have the sympathy of the community.
