Harry served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked as an electrician for Conwed Corporation in Cloquet and for Midwest Energy in Superior. Harry was a life member of the Hebert-Kennedy VFW Post 3979, the Carl Anderson American Legion Post 262, the Cloquet Country Club, and Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Harry loved golfing, cribbage with his Wednesday cribbage buddies, traveling (especially his Scotland golf trip with his son, Ken), and spending time with his family.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mary Ann; brothers, Albert and Donald McCuskey; sisters, Anna Strand and Margaret Nikstad; and a granddaughter, Ryan Nelson.
He is survived by his children: Kenneth (Marie) McCuskey, Gary (Margie) McCuskey, Bonnie McCuskey, and Steve (Corinne) McCuskey; grandchildren: Erin, Peter, Dustin, Chris McCuskey, Samantha Nelson, Jessica (Mark) McCuskey-Zahn, Alec and Colleen McCuskey; four great-grandchildren,; his second wife, Carol Palmer and her children and grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Inurnment service will be held in the Holyoke Cemetery.
