Pauline Ruth Cantrell, 91, of Springdale passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021, at The Maples. Pauline was born September 18, 1929, in Huntsville, Ark., to Clint and Martha Bolinger.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Cantrell; her parents; and two sisters who passed away at birth.
Pauline was a member of Robinson Avenue Church of Christ. She graduated from Fayetteville Business College. She was a bookkeeper until she retired from Watson's Furniture. She enjoyed gardening, baking, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Thomas Cantrell of Springdale; one daughter, Connie Alston of Lowell; three grandchildren, Lorrie Bayles and husband, Brandon, of Tontitown, Mark Cantrell and wife, Kari, of Siloam Springs, and Joseph Alston, who is currently stationed overseas; four great-grandchildren, Aiden, Grayson, Emily, and Beckett.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 26, at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with Keith Kilmer officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 the family requests that those attending wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 25, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Elite Hospice, 4847 Kaylee Ave. Suite A, Springdale, Ark. 72762.
