Eugene B Bardo acquired a practical education in public schools of Fairfield township & Muncy Normal School and for the next 6 years followed the teaching profession. He served 2 years at the Bastress school, 1 year in the Road school in Fairfield township & 2 years as principal of the Lloyds Addition School. In 1898 he entered the Pennsylvania School of Dental Surgery from which he graduated in 1902.He was a member of the Piere Dental Society. he was appointed as surgeon at the Incurable Hospital in Philadelphia and also practiced his profession . In 1903 he took up residence in Williamsport and opened a office. Dr. Bardo was a member of Abraham Lincoln Council Junior Order of United American Mechanics in Montoursville. On Dec. 29 1904 he married Bettie B Hower the daughter of A D & Drusilla ( Schuyler) Hower. Mrs. Bardo was educated in the Friends School in Philadelphia & Muncy Normal School. For 8 years before her marriage she taught at the Institution for the Deaf in Philadelphia. They are members of the First Baptist Church in Williamsport.
