Services for Felipe R. Duron, Jr. are set for 10 a.m. Friday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Monsignor John McCaffrey will officiate. Burial will be at Bryan City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Duron died Tuesday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.

He was born in Caldwell, Texas and was a lifelong resident of Bryan. Mr. Duron was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He worked for Alenco for 15 years. Mr. Duron umpired Little League West for 30 years, coached boxing at the Bryan Boys Club in 1968 and was manager for the athletics in 1974.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Duron of Bryan; two sons and a daughter-in-law, James Duron, Sr. of Bryan and Jerry and Maria Duron of Allen; a daughter, Lisa Dickson of Bryan; two brothers, Jessie Duron of Hearne and Danny Duron of Bryan; five sisters, Eva Monguia of Houston, Ela Duron, Ester Casares and Victoria Esperiqueta all of Bryan and Virginia DeLeon of Dallas; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
