Mr. Hobert Glenn Tucker, 75, of 4840 Dorset Road passed away Thursday, Oct. 31, 2002, at his home. He was born April 16, 1927, in Winston-Salem to Roscoe and Mattie Tucker. He proudly served his country during World War II as a member of the U.S. Navy Air Corps and was honorably discharged. Mr. Tucker attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Guilford College. For many years, he was employed by the accounting firm of E.H. Cannon and Co. Mr. Tucker owned and operated Accounting Associates from the late 1970s. He was also past president of the Exchange Club of Winston-Salem. Surviving are his wife, Flora Tucker; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Sonny Gentry of Wilmington; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Sandra Tucker of Huntersville; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Forsyth Memorial Park by Pastor Philip Moore.
