WOODRUFF, SC - Irene Alexander Westmoreland, 77, widow of Sam Coke Westmoreland, of 531 Crescent Avenue, died Monday.
Born in Spartanburg County, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodruff and former member of the Eastern Star. She attended Columbia College.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, June Westmoreland of Woodruff, and a granddaughter reared in the home, Cynthia O'Quinn of Spartanburg.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Bethel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at Lanford-Boyter Funeral Home, Woodruff.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity.
