On October 18, 2003, she was born Jan. 15, 1917 in Pittsburgh, PA. to Walter Dearth Moser & Dena Knight Moser & will be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, sister, aunt & friend. She was preceded in death by her parents & her husband Floyd D. Magness. She is survived by her sister Christine Moser Macpherson & her husband Louis of Houston, TX; nieces Janet Macpherson Buchert & her husband Ronnie of Houston, TX, also Barbara Begley of Pgh, PA; nephews Douglas Knight Macpherson & wife Ann of Baton Rouge, LA & Thomas Andrew Macpherson & wife Pamela of Houston, TX; grand niece Megan Christine Macpherson of Houston, TX & grand nephews Christian Ryan Buchert, Nicholas Alexander Buchert & Samuel James Macpherson of Houston, TX. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Eleanor was a Teacher & an inspiration both in her career & in her life. She received her BA degree from Indiana of Pennsylvania University & pursued and was subsequently awarded a Master's Degree in Business. Traveling with her husband was a passion in which they saw many countries & cultures from the Great Wall to the Taj Mahal. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church & the Dormont College Club. In lieu of flowers family requests donations in her name to the Charity of your Choice. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank Eleanors neighbors, friends & church for their love & support for Eleanor during her life. The family also wishes to thank her caretaker & friend Barbara Szefi & her dear & lifelong friend Dorothy (Dottie) Florence, who have been tireless in their love & care during Eleanor's illness.
