Mrs. John Waters Dies
Mrs. Flora Phillips Waters, widow of the late John Waters, died Saturday morning, in a nursing home in Indianapolis, after being ill since the first of September. She was the daughter of Melvin and Jane Phillips. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Charles Oliver; one grandson, Corp. John Oliver, stationed in Belgium; a sister, Mrs. Sallie Watts of San Diego, and one brother, A.R. Phillips, of Buckeye, Ariz. She was a member of the Pittsboro Methodist church. Funeral services were held at Flanner & Buchanan in Indianapolis, where she worked many years, Monday afternoon. Burial was in Greenlawn cemetery, Brownsburg.
