"Owens - Ernest E. Owens, 435 North Michigan avenue, passed away March 30, 1950 at his home. a native of Wisconsin, he had been a resident of Pasadena the past six years. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and Rebekah Lodges in Gregory, S.D. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary L. Owens of Pasadena; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Lang of Pacific Grove, Cal; a son, Lawrence Owens of Rock Springs, Wyo.; a niece, Mrs. Lester Ritter of Omaha, Neb.; a brother, Fred Owens of Kansas, and a sister, Mrs. O.M.Burch of South Dakota; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. ...Interment, Mount View Cemetery."
