Married to Eli Brown (1860-1937)
Social Security records had Cornelia's birth in 1871, another source had 1867&her death certificate had 1881
On May 13, 1965, Cornelia Abraham Brown was the oldest resident of Chambers County, Texas. She was born a slave on May 11, 1858 and she died on October 26, 1967. Her parents were Moses Abraham and Eliza Toran Abraham. She had six siblings: Malinda, Clara, Ava, Dora, Chris and George. It is my understanding that she had one daughter Ira Abraham (1888-1933) who was married to Martin Toran (1887-1954). She later married Eli Brown (1860-1937) on December 24, 1892. Are there any living descendants of her granddaughters Emma Toran (1906-1931) or Elnora Toran Baptiste Martin Grogans (1907-2000)? If so, please contact Angelina Davis or Lee Blue. Thank you!
