He served as president of the laundry company for fifteen years until he retired three years ago and moved to California for his health. About a year ago he returned as superintendent of the company.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Estelle C. Munger of Pasadena, Cal.; three sisters, Miss Laura M. Munger of Chicago, Mrs. Ralph Freese and Mrs. Katherine Redman of Bloomington, Ill., and a brother, George E. Munger, president of the company.
