Obituary for Robert, Elizabeth
ROBERT, Elizabeth H. (Brunk) died Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Brookhaven Nursing Home. She had resided at Brookhaven for over 6 years. Elizabeth was born on May 26, 1911 in Roanoke County, VA to the late E. Daniel & June (Starkey) Brunk. She grew up around Brookville and lived near West Manchester for 53 years. She is survived by two daughters Wanda (Virgil) Hundley of Cincinnati and Nancy (Michael) Turner of Lincoln, NE; a son Donald (Patty) Robert of Wayne Lakes; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; a brother Blair (Vera) Brunk of Brookville. She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, John L. Robert, two daughters, infant Sue Ellen Robert and Doris Jean Rust, a grandson, Darryl Rust, her brothers Henry, Cline and John Brunk and her sisters Pearl Brown and Marie Hoff. Elizabeth was a member of the former West Manchester UMC. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 12, at the Kreitzer Funeral Home. Arcanum with the Rev. E. Halson Copley officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Brookville, The family will receive relatives and friends 6 - 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. The family suggest memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or the Hospice of Dayton.
