Darrell D. Durkee, age 77 years, of Kendall, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

He was born on November 20, 1941 to Arnold and Beulah (Mc Bain) Durkee in Hillsboro and he graduated from the Hillsboro High School. Darrell served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years during the Vietnam War.

Darrell was united in marriage to Debra (Dyer) Gradel on July 27, 2001 in Mauston.

He worked for 27 years at Brunner Manufacturing and enjoyed fishing and shooting pool and was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers.

Survivors include his wife, Debra; children, Robin Durkee, Tina Durkee, Shelly (Bill) Droster, Scotty Gradel and Mason Gradel; several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren; brother, Terry (Yvonne) Durkee; sisters, Rita (Don) Yahnke, Anita Durkee, Kathy Hockmuth and Marla (Dale Jr.) Scott and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; uncle, Orlo (Flossie) Durkee and cousin, Rod Durkee.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with Rev. Conrad Prell officiating. Burial with military rites will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery. Friends may call at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m.
