Norma Amidan
SLATERVILLE - Norma F. Amidan, 89, died Friday, March 19, 2004 in Ogden of natural causes.

She was born in Plain City, Utah on December 2, 1914, the daughter of Merlin Hyrum England and Florence Taylor England.

Norma was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed quilting, cooking, handwork, and especially her family.

She married Walter Robert Amidan on August 24, 1935 in Weber County, and were later sealed in the Ogden Temple. He died November 19, 1981.

Norma is survived by two sons, Boyd (Butch) Amidan, Ogden; Kevin Amidan, Ogden; three daughters, ReNae (John) Bennett, Mesquite, NV; Kay (Dennis) Hadley, Mesquite, NV; Julie (Tom) Dickamore, Ogden. She is also survived by two sisters, Edna Tittensor, American Fork; and JeNeal (Bob) Thomas, Warren; 24 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, one son, Reed, two sisters, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 22, 2004, at 11 a.m., at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Family and friends may call on Sunday, March 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. and also one hour prior to services on Monday at the mortuary.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Crestwood Care Center for their loving care.

Interment, Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park.
