William Alfred Whitmore died at his home in Ringling Saturday at 12:20 p.m. He was born December 8, 1865 and had resided at Ringling forty years. His wife, Mrs Nancy Whitmore, died May 26, 1944.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs Nora Westberry (correction Westbury), Ringling and Mrs Flora Walden, Oklahoma City, and four sons, Oscar, Duncan; Barney, Ringling; C. L., Clovis, New Mexico; and C M Whitmore, Tulsa.
Funeral services were held at Bettes funeral home in Ardmore at 10 a.m., Monday and interment was in the Odd Fellows cemetery at Ringling.
