Louise (Sego) Childress
Age 88, of Cub Run, died at her daughter's home.

Daughter of:
Rev. Clarence & Lena (Craddock) Sego

Wife of:
Edward Childress. They were married fifty one years.
She was a member of Cub Run Baptist Church where, at the age of sixteen, she was saved and remained a faithful member until her death.

She was a Sunday school teacher, she sang in the church choir and sang in the family quartet.
Her eyesight failed her in the later years of her life and she wasn’t able to see the words to the songs but her place was still singing in the choir when she was able to go to church.

She was a retired employee of Louisville Bedding Co. in Munfordville.

Predeceased by:
Her parents; her husband; one sister: Juanita Gonterman and three brothers: James Sego, Kenneth Sego & Russell Sego.

Survivors:
One daughter: Linda Childress; one son: David Childress (Betty); three grandchildren: Stephanie Hensley (Kyle), Josh Childress and Kaylee; two great-grandchildren: Shanna Hensley & Jase Hensley; three sisters: Maevon Fay, Laura Doris Thompson and Carolyn Dennison (Gary); one sister-in-law: Geneva Childress; and many extended family members and friends.

Services:
Funeral services held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Cub Run Baptist Church with Brother Jonathan Lindsey & Brother Cecil Williams officiating.
Sego Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
