Novi, Mich., Dec 31.
Sumner Bathrick, the farmer who was shot by his son Thursday night in the course
of a Quarrel, died Friday after a night of terrible suffering. Before dying he made out
his will and signed it with his own blood. "Gay", his son, was taken to the county
jail at Pontiac, where he would be safe from the crowd that had threatened to lynch him.
