FLORENCE E. BRYAN CHADWELL, 82, of Lake Livingston and formerly of Ranger, died in Houston on October 3, 1997. Mrs. Chadwell was born on November 12, 1914 in Clyde and married Roland J. Chadwell, Class of 1930, in 1935 in Carlsbad, N.M. She worked as an accountant and bookkeeper for more than 30 years until retiring. She lived in Houston for many years until moving to Lake Livingston in 1980.

Survivors at the time of her death include her husband, of Lake Livingston; three sons, Roland G. Chadwell, James R. Chadwell and Thomas W. Chadwell; one brother, Travis Bryan, of Fort Worth; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Gleaton and Ollie Massey. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger.
