Mr. Loubert had resided in Harrison since 1983, moving from Saginaw. Ronald was a member and faithful attendant of First Baptist Church, Harrison. Ronald enjoyed the game of golf, playing on three leagues at Devils Knob Golf Course of Harrison. He also played several rounds of golf weekly while wintering in Florida. Ronald was presented a Handyman award for 2017 and 2018. He was a skilled craftsman and home builder, building the family home in Harrison. Ronald will be fondly remembered by many for his magnetic personality.
Surviving Mr. Loubert is his loving wife and best friend of fifty-four years, Mrs. Marian C. Loubert of Harrison, two sons, Monty Godwin and wife Victoria of Saginaw and Terry Godwin, four grandchildren; Rita (Cohby) Eckhardt, Ethan James Godwin, Lydia Marie (Chris) Chaltraw and Brett (Karen) Godwin, four great-grandchildren; Trevor Godwin, Shelby Godwin, Ava Rose Eckhardt and Stella Rose Eckhardt, one brother, Michael Loubert, three special nephews, plus many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends and his beloved dogs; Chee Chee and Peppy. Mr. Loubert was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and six brothers.
Funeral services for Mr. Loubert will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from First Baptist Church, 3088 Mostetler Rd., Harrison, with Pastor Tim Tanner officiating. Visitation for Mr. Loubert will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at First Baptist Church, Harrison. Burial will take place at Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Harrison with Military Honors presented under the auspices of the V.F.W. Post 1075 Honor Guard.
