Ami Louis Bonjour was born December 31, 1863, at Lignieres, Switzerland, Canton Neuchatel, and passed away on May 12, 1939, near Frankfort, Kansas, at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 12 days.

He was married to Adeline Carrel on April 5, 1894 at Neuchatel, Kansas. To this union three children were born: Robert of Topeka and Mrs. Cecile Bishop of Frankfort, Kansas, and one daughter dying in infancy.

Mr. Bonjour has lived in this community, and that of Neuchatel, nearly 50 years. He was a member of the old Presbyterian church at Neuchatel.

He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, two children, four grandchildren other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the Neuchatel church on Sunday afternoon, by Dr. Thos. C. Hinkle, and burial was in the Neuchatel cemetery.

Out of town friends attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Irving Nauman, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Floyd, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Floyd, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Musgrave, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Rasmussen and Wayne, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Warren and Robert, all of Frankfort, and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Tillotson, of Lawrence.
