She was a member of New Holly Light Missionary Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Wamsutta Mills for 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert Lewis Osbey, Sr.; three daughters, Herlena Owens, Rushella Osbey and Ciara Osbey; three sons, Herbert L. Osbey, Jr., William Christopher Osbey and Herbert L. Osbey III; fifteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four sisters, Carrie Johnson, Lourlean Oglesby, Anna Marie "Ann" Allman and Mabell Jones; five brothers, William Hagood, John David Hagood, James Stanley Hagood, Ronald Hagood and Donald Hagood; and a host of relatives.
